About Me

Kia ora my name is Fern and I am a year 6 student at Paihia school. My teachers are Whaea Shanna and Whaea Chrisy and we have 2 teacher aides called Whaea Gina and Whaea Ronnie . My culture is maori and my favorite subject in school is writing, art and science because they are fun and creative. This is my Pepeha. Ko Poeroa toku Maunga. Ko Waitangi toku Awa. Ko Ngatokimatawhaorua toku waka. Ko Ngapuhi toku Iwi. Ko Ngati Hine toku hupo Ko Paihia toku kura. Ko Te Ti toku maerai. Ko Buster toku Papa. Ko Ange toku Mama. Ko Aura toku taina. Ko Fern toku Ingoa. Ko Tahere toku Whanau. I am tall and I am a strong swimmer but I am shy when I sing .The thing I am good at is singing, I am good at art and also writing . I also enjoy being with my whanau. The thing that I think is going to be challenging is the Russell swimming sports and my goal this year is keep going and never give up. What I am looking forward to is my 10th birthday. The people that inspire me are my mum and dad because my dad teaches me about nature and my mum teaches me about life. What I am looking forward to at school is seeing what our class is going to look like after we give it a makeover.
