Our Incredible Kindness to Our Kaumatua and Kui

This week in class we have been making kindness letters to our Kaumatua and Kuia. We had a Success criteria to follow and we had to put the date on it, then we had to write an introduction and the introduction was about ourselves but not to much about ourselves, next we had to write another paragraph about what you did in lockdown, then the last paragraph was giving kind words and talking about how covid-19 affected you. Then all of the letters got sent to the Kaumatua and Kuia and I hope the person that my letter got sent to was very happy to know that younger kids care about older people. Have you done a kindness letter ?

My Terrific Maths eyes

 In Te Ngahere we are learning to see if we have maths eyes. We are seeing who has maths eyes by looking at gingerbread men. I noticed that each gingerbread man had a different color button and also each of the gingerbread men have 2 buttons three of them have pink buttons, four have red buttons, two have yellow, three have green, four have blue and four have orange. I learnt that I have maths eyes but I did not now that I had maths eyes until we did this maths. It was really fun to now that I have maths eyes and it is very fun for me to do at school. What do you notice in the gingerbread men that I did not ? Do you have maths eyes ?

Happy Mothers Day

 On the 7th of may I made some origami flowers and love hearts and a box with a letter inside. My mum does not know anything about it so I hid them in my room. I hope every mother has a great mothers day. Her is the things I made. What do you think? Did you give your mum something?

My Fantastic Certificate Achievements

Last Friday we had a assembly by google hangout.  We all got certificate for different subjects. I was so shocked that I was given 4!  One was for my summer learning journey work, one for my art, one for my amazing trickshot and lastly for my terrific blog posts. I am so proud to have received 4 certificates, it's the most I have ever received at one time. Here they all are. What do you think of my certificates?

My Amazing Screencastify About Maths

This blog post is about maths. For my class I had to make a screencastify about perimeter using cm. I really liked making my screencastify because it was creative and new because it was my first time making one. This is my screencastify.

My Beautiful Anzac Art

I made some beautiful poppies for Anzac day. So this is how I made it so I got red reusable shopping bags. I cut big circles and little circles out of them  then black circles from the black bases in the bottom of shopping bags for the center of the poppies. Next we staple gun them onto sicks we cut from a tree, and they look like this. 

  

My Cute Vector Art

Vector art is a type of art when you just use shapes. This is how I made it so first I choose a image of a cat and then I used a drawing tool to make the shapes in my art, so then I traced around one color and then colored one shape and then the other then I did the eyes, Then I put the name of the animal on the art work and it was all on a chromebook. I chose something easy to do on my chromebook and it is a cat. I chose a fox at first but it was to hard and then I chose to do a reindeer but that was hard to so then The cat was much easier. I think it is so cute.  What do you think? Is it cute?
